a very popular and versatile form of modern partner dance
suitable to a wide variety of music from
Latin, Swing, Chart, Rock'n'Roll, Country, to most modern dance music.
It is a fun, easy to learn dance that is enjoyed by a
wide age group & variety of people,
Jive is nationwide and one of the largest and fastest
growing forms of freestyle dance in the UK and abroad.
We can have you dancing with a few basic moves in one night.
SALSA (Partner Dance)
Fun for all... Experience the infectious,
hip swinging moves of Salsa Dance
to some sultry South American rhythms.
Salsa is a very popular modern partner dance established from
the distillation of many Latin & Afro-Caribbean dances.
Salsa is nationwide and one of the largest and fastest
growing forms of freestyle dance in the UK and abroad.
Bands are also now regularly playing Merengue,
its basic step has a more simple construction,
unlike regular nightclubs most people go to Latin clubs
simply because they enjoy the Music-Salsa.
We can have you dancing with a few basic steps in one night.
Uptown Dance have a policy of teaching all the skills that you require to become a competent dancer within regular dance classes,
giving you the better chance of absorbing the teachings on a regular basis and learning at a steady pace.
